As a SEND Mum2Mum Specialist, I'm dedicated to helping mothers of children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) understand and accept their SEND family. Drawing on my expertise and accredited training, I provide practical and holistic strategies, support, and guidance tailored to the specific needs of overwhelmed, guidance-seeking, or crisis-point mums. My mission is to uplift SEND Mums, ensure they feel heard, and give them the tools to manage SEND life with greater confidence around family harmony.
I specialise in helping SEND Mums on a 1-2-1 basis, focusing on techniques based on their personal and individual challenges. Processing issues, looking for solutions, learning how to be better for you and your child and support decision making.
The Balanced Mum: Strategies for SEND Families is made up of seven modules. Each module has five lessons, taking around one hour 30 minutes per module (10.5 hours). The course includes journaling, worksheets, videos, quizzes and more.
I work with foster agencies to provide support to their foster parents who care for children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), including those with Fetal Alcohol Syndrome (FAS), through bespoke training and Q&A's.
My mission is to help as many SEND families as possible so to ensure my techniques are correct, I undertook a course with The Coaching Masters, meaning I am accredited.
